Member Representative for Royal Borough of Kingston
After leaving school in Barnet, Dave gained a BSc and PGCE at Cardiff University. He spent 30 years teaching Science, Geography and Horticulture at Secondary level.
He retired early and worked part time as a caseworker for the MPs in Sutton & Cheam, Richmond Park and Kingston & Surbiton.
In 2005 he was elected to RB Kingston Council representing first Canbury ward and latterly Norbiton Ward.
He is married with 3 now adult children.
He spent far too much of his spare time in the 1970s to1990s exploring and discovering Caves primarily in South Wales (where he was part of the team which discovered the largest cave passage in Britain) but also England, France and Turkey. He still enjoys spending time in the wilder parts of this and other countries.
